Christmas is over :(

I'm so late in posting this, but I only just downloaded the pictures from my christmas last year! Just a snippit of what I got up too and a few presents I received. Please excuse the mess, we were in the middle of redecorating!

A Few of my christmas presents! (the GHD's are actually from last year! They were already downstairs when I was opening presents, and being lazy, I didn't move them!)

Excuse the look! It's like 7am! (Yes my sister gets up THAT early!)

This christmas was one of the best i've had because I shared it with the people I love the most! Minus the boyfriend who spent it with his dad and brothers. We plan to spend this year together. I got spoiled by my family and received a pandora bracelet and a new camera as well as a few other goodies and lots of chocolate! (Thighs will be growing :()
I hope you all had a lovely christmas  and got what you wanted! And i know it's late but happy new year! :)

Now that Christmas is over, if you're like me, you have ALOT of birthdays/occasions coming up.

So I've collected a few ideas of what to get girls/women for the time being, otherwise this blog post will go on forever! I'll do a guys one and and a multi-gender one too, and seeing as I have a few young children possibly one for them, if you guys find these helpful or interesting, let me know! I'll also link to the places where you can buy these items.

These gifts are ideal for all types of girls/women and I love every single item on here (in case my boyfriend is reading!)

1) Elf Lipstick in shade - Seductive - £1.50 Get here - I've used these quite often before, and they're actually very good and have such a strong colour!
2) Soap and Glory Mother Pucker - Extreme Plump Lip gloss - £10 Get here - I've recently blogged about this product and if you know someone who wants fuller lips, this is the product to get! Although, in my opinion I do think it's slightly over priced!
3) MUA Extreme Felt Eyeline - Black - £2.00 Get here - I'd shout out from the rooftops about this brand, as I think it's affordable and is very good value for money. Because of the price, you could get a selection of items to give as gifts. I'll show you later on how I created an ELF/MUA make-up hamper.
4) ELF Mineral Foundation - Fair - £3.50 Get here - Once again, £3.50 is a very good price for a foundation! It's a powder so I often use it as a over coat, but still a very good gift idea.
5) Sparkling Gold Vodka - Pink and Original - £16.99 (pink) £14.44 (original) Get here - I have quite a few 18th coming up and this product looks elegant and unique! It's sophisticated and looks delish! Some may see it as pricey, but in honesty, this is cheap for vodka. I've never actually had it, so I don't know how it tastes, but I'm sure it's good!
6) Jellybean scented Iphone cases - 5 Flavors - All £14.99 Get here - Looks yummy and a friend of my purchased one and now can not stop smelling her phone! Strong scent and comes in a flavor for everyone! Protects Iphone 4/4s.
7) Rimmel Lasting Foundation - Natural - £6.99 Get here - I love this foundation, it's affordable, and gives sheer cover and covers all blemishes. An ideal gift, just remember if you're going to buy foundation, you have to get the right shade, so for me it's ivory, the image is Natural I think...?
8) Marc Jacobs - Daisy - £56.00 Get here - One of the slightly more pricey items, however, totally worth it. Described as 'Daisy is the essence of a youthful spirit: sunny, happy, free.' and it totally is! So if you want to treat someone special then this is the one to get!

9) Retro Games Sweets - pacman or supermario - £5.59 each Get here - Looks cute, and if like me you have friends who love retro/icon items like these, and it's not a bad price. A cute little gift that might even cheer someone up!

So those are my top gifts that i'm getting people this year and is giving me inspiration for other gifts aswell. Hope this helps you as well

Soap and Glory - Sexy Mother Pucker Extreme Plump Lipgloss!

After a recent visit to boots with a friend, we found Boots had a 3 for 2 on all Soap and Glory products! Now despite the fact I didn't actually purchase any items my friend did! And one thing she did, was this lip gloss. After trying it out, I now fell it's a make-up bag must have! And as soon as my bank account is full again (considering it's a week to payday and this gloss alone costs £10!) I will be purchasing one!

Cute packaging and pretty good, however, maybe slightly overpriced to some extent!

Top Fragrances.

So as I said, i've fallen in love with quite a few perfumes and sprays over the festive season! So I took the top ones I revieved over christmas.
The Body lotion of Alex by Alex Curren, a lush body lotion which leaves me skin uber soft!
And smells exactly the same as the perfume (obviously!)
This is the Alex Curran fragrance called 'Alex', I got this gift set from my parents after going on and on and on about it! I love this fragrance because it's just so fresh! And for those who know me, will know Alex Curran is an idol for me! I love the pattern aswell!

True star by Beyonce! It's the handbag version which I thought was very handy! This was from my brother and sister-in-law. It came in a set of three different perfumes, all hand bag sized. It's become one of my most used because like Alex Curran it's such a fresh fragrance. It's quite flowery which is something I LOVE!

I actually buy this one myself on a regualr basis, because it's one of the best body sprays i've ever come across. A very cute, 'girly' smell which my boyfriend loves me wearing! I currently need to get some more as this one is dying, but still in my top list!

Now, I love most Charlie sprays and have done since I was about 12! Most people I know don't really like this one as much as the others, but this is my fave, along with Charlie Black. This came in a set of 5 travel size cans which was one of my presents of my Boyfriends family.

December Faves featuring MUA!

So seeing as we're part way through January, I'd thought i'd post my best make-up items which got me through the festive season! They are mostly eye shadows I will admit, I'm a sucker for MUA products at the moment and ALOT of fragrances! So, here are my top 5 I've used pretty much through winter!

N.Y.C COLOUR
City Duet - SoHo Spice

This was actually something my friend gave me because she didn't like it! MADNESS! This is a lovely colour combo, and it's actually quite nice and pigmented. I combine it with another eyeshadow I like to create the smoky eye look. I believe it's around £3/4? If i'm wrong, please correct me. :)

Tommy & Kate Eyeshadow set.

This is from a collection my grandmother got for me. I expected it to be quite rubbish if i'm perfectly honest, but I was surprised! It's a beautiful collection of colours which I thought I wouldn't like. They were very nice to wear on Christmas day!

This is my last eyeshadow that I possibly may have over used, however it's a gorgeous eyeshadow! The make Bourjois isn't one that I usually pay attention too, but this was actually once again a gift from a good friend, she got me a set of these eyeshadows, which was lovely of her! Anyway, I decided to try these out and found I personally found them slightly to metalic I guess the word is, but this one, I just found such a nice colour.

This is the first MUA lipstick I'd brought and i'll be honest, because of the price I didn't expect it to be brilliant! However, I was very content when I tried it out, and fell in love. The actually colour is a pinky colour, which is what I've been searching for, for a very very long time without success! So thank you MUA because you've now become my best make-up brand!

Another MUA fav! This time it's an eyeliner, which i'm a very fussy girl with, because I have very sensitve eyes! (Can't keep a mascara for more than a month at the least!) So to find a eyeliner that worked and has a very strong colour, yet didn't effect my eyes was a god send! The colour for me doesn't smudge and rarely needs to be reaplied (However, I do need to touch it up now and again, but who doesn't?!). Such a good quality product for a good budget price!

So that's a small selection of my December bests! Let me know if you've tried these products too, and what you thought of them!? Mucho Love Rosella<3

Also, A little note on the end, about my Rosella name, Rose is my middle name but quite often get called it :) and Ella is a name which is personal to me, so hence Rosella <3 It's not original I know, but to me it's special, I also often use the name Rosella when blogging :) <3
