April Favorites!

This month I've found some true gems in which have actually become my go to's! It's an odd mix, but I've been playing about this some new hair products and sprays! 

This month I have literally fallen in love with the MUA eyeshadow palettes! Seriously, I can't get enough of them. I just want them all! The Undress Me Too palette is by far my most used one at the present time. I opt for this one whether its to go to work or out for the day ect I just adore it! The Dusk til Dawn one is pretty awesome too, I mostly use this one for nights out! Reviews on both of these are coming soon! 

After my operation, I felt the need to try and find a decent lotion, to minimise my scar, people recomened bio oil which I am still using, but I actually brought this body lotion from work and it's actually really good, I was shocked because it was so cheap! With discount it was like £1.30 or something?! It's not oily like I find others to be and really is my go to lotion now! The lip scrub has been a all time fave for a the past year or so,  and it's really helped me out in this flippent weather. I don't know about you but my lips tend to get very VERY dry and chapped around this time of year, so I love using this and it DOES taste good!

Wishlist Wednesday

This week is payday! The week when I feel entirely rich and I don't have a single care! But as well all know, or MOST of us know, it doesn't last for long! BUT if the spring/summer weather isn't a good enough reason to go out and buy lots of new clothes and other bits when is! In the next few coming months I have my boyfriend's birthday, which we're celebrating my having a small BBQ get together, I really hope the weather is nice, as it'll be the first BBQ we've had in the flat! Obviously not in the flat, because that's not good! Anywayyy, I then have my birthday, my MIL's birthday, my dad's birthday and my nieces, so LOTS of occasions! I'm super excited for the rest of this year, now the sun is shining everything seems to be alot more brighter and positive! OR maybe that is just me? 

So much more I could have added to this, so many clothes, but here's what I've put on. I'm particularly obsessed with the MUA Eyeshadow pallets! I want them all! And then to start on a MAC one, but that's in the very distant future at this rate! I am also looking for a new fragrance for the summer. At the moment I'm using Alien, which I adore, but nothing wrong with a bit of change, at the moment I really am liking the thought of this Marc Jacobs. The bottle is so pretty! As well as that, Hawaiian Tropic is a brand that I've only really used once or twice, but the Oil looks lush and the lipgloss! If I finally end up being able to go on my holiday these will be on my list! The oil might well be my go to this summer! Has anyone ever tried it before?

Wishlist Wednesday

Over the past couple of weeks there are a few things that I have really be lusting over! With payday around the corner why not make up a wishlist. I'm sad to say I won't be making all these purchases due to the fact my pay packet will be a sore point for me, after being of work for a month recovering from my op, it's fair to say I've lost a fair amount of money! Sad faces all around but thankfully I might be able to make 1-2 cheeky purchases to fulfill my shopping desire! So without further ado, here is what I'm lusting over this week! 

As you can see it's mostly clothing, but you know how it is! Summer is rolling up, the dresses are coming out of storage, the hunt is on for the perfect sunnies and it's the season for pastels and brights! And I couldn't be more excited! I'm bored of snow and coldness and can't wait for ice cream at the fields, late night walks, BBQ's ect! 

I think the one purchase I will be making from this list is the Mac Lipstick in Candy Yum Yum. OH my! It's beautiful. I've always been afraid of bolds, but lately I can't be without it! The GHD;s are slightly out of reach at the moment, but I've got my eye on them and maybe the boyfriend fairy will bring me them for my birthday in a few months? Anyway, see anything you like? I'm making the most of ASOS sale come payday, because I have a few parties/events coming up so why not dress for the occasion!? :)

Project May!

Hello All!

It's been way to long since me getting back into the swing of blogging. I just can't seem to find it in me to blog!  So the number one thing I told myself when I started Rosella, I would never force myself to do it. But seeing as I've been super lazy and lacking in content I've set myself a challenge which I'm calling 'Project May'. The idea is that I will be attempting to blog everyday in May, whether it's beauty, fashion, blogging related or just lifestyle in general! I'm already scheduling posts and because there's a fair bit going on in my life in May I'm super excited to share some things with you! 

I can't believe that while I've been away my blogs gained so many followers and my site views have almost doubled! That's amazing! Thank you all so much, and don't forget that I'm also on Hellocotton & Bloglovin, so please check them out too :)

Confessions Of A Beauty Blogger!

Hello!

So technically I can't really call myself a beauty blogger at present...actually a blogger at all! I've been so very poorly lately, and if you follow my twitter you'll know why! In short, I've been in hospital and have had to have an operation. I'll explain more in a later post! Anyway....

I got this idea from Becky at MilkBubbleTea and thought, well, this should be interesting! So here we go, 10 confessions! 

1. I don't always remove my make-up at night! I get told off ALOT because of this, one of the biggest sins going apparently *oops!* 
2. As much as I try, I never really drink a full 2 liters of water a day, not really a beauty thing, but my skin really does look better when I do! 
3. I suck at moisturizing! I really need to learn more about skincare products. 
4. I'm more of a high street brand girl and see MAC and Benifit ect as a treat! 
5. It takes alot for me to actually go through with buying high end products. I'm self aware (?) when it comes to my money!  
6. I'm easily tempted to buy products when I've seen a review. I just have to have it! *ahem Appocolips ahem!* 
7. I've never ever ever fake tanned! 
8. I get gel nails every now and again, always say never again because they ruin my nails...then go get them done again! 
9. My hairdresser ruined my hair when I wanted to get slight highlights and she put in massive chunks of blonde...which then turned a funny colour! 
10. The most I've ever spent on a make-up product is £24.99 and it was a YSL product!

Spending Ban Update #4 & some good news!

Hello! 

So I'm now around 6-7 weeks into my spending ban, to be honest I've lost slight track but know it ends on the 14th of April, just in time for the London meet up! 

So seeing as I haven't updated you lot for a while, and I've been lacking in the blogging area, here's how I've been getting on. I did spend some money on beauty products for Valentines day, which I did say I was allowing myself. Since then, I've been out shopping numerous times and have only brought essentials, such as wipes, hand cream and cotton buds! Now, for me, I feel like I've come very far! Before I would just spend money because I had money, not anymore! I've started to think alot more about my purchashes! I have put away QUITE a bit of money now, and plan on putting this in my baby fund (read my bucket list) and my wedding fund! 

I'm not pregnant and I'm not engaged, but it's never to early to start saving and it's something that will happen in the future, just not right now! Learning how to save was something I really wanted to learn, and through this, I think I'm slowly getting it. I didn't even go into lush on Saturday   even though the smell was tempting! Big pat on the back for me! Lets hope I can keep this up!!

And now for my GOOD news! It feels like it's been a while since I've had any (sorry to be pessimistic  but I got an email today telling me I'd been selected for an interview at my local council for a job in the Child and Learning Support Center! I'm super excited and haven't told anyone about it apart from my parents and boyfriend, and obviously you! It's given me the boost I needed to sort my life out and put it into order, starting with my driving test. I keep putting this off and if I'm honest, I've been putting off because I just don't think I could deal with failing again. But hey ho, keep on climbing up.

25 Facts About Me! #Tag

Hello lovelies! 

First, let me say sorry for my long absense lately! I've been super super busy lately, havent had access to a computer or laptop full time and in general, I've been a bit down, again. But I thought I'd give you a little post today!

Today's post is a tag that has been floating around the blogging world lately, and thought I'd give it a go! Plus who doesn't like to know a bit more about people's lives! I might struggle to come up with 25 facts, as I'm not a very exciting person! But, without further a do...here we go! 

1. I currently live part time with my boyfriend and part time with my parents 
2. I love cocktails, I'd rather go out to a cocktail bar than clubbing!
3. I'm working towards a driving license, having failed 2 tests! 
4. I decided against going to Uni and till this day, I do NOT regret it.
5. I've accepted myself for the way I am, and have learnt that those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter. Which is also my new motto for life! 
6. I have a make-up brush addiction!
7.  My boyfriend and I work at the same company, and he is my boss! 
8. I can count my true friends on one hand, and I'm ok with that! 
9. Alex Curran & Colleen Rooney were once my idols and till this day I still love their style! 
10. I have a baby bucket list at the age of 18!
11. I can't wait to have children, which I hope will be in a few years! 
12. I have a crush on Dougie from McFLY and have done since I was 13! 
13. I adore chocolate cookies! (random one there ;))
14. I like to use smiley faces! 
15. I have a wedding scrap book that I started when I was 16 and hope one day I can use my ideas! 
16. I dream of being the perfect housewife! And I don't see what's wrong with that! 
17. I wanted to work in PR for a long time, then childcare, then PR ect, and have ended up working towards a management position. 
18. I finally perfected a cookie recipe that I've been trying to since I was 14!

22. I love Spain and would live there if I could!
