Barry M - Nail Paint (Mint Green) - Review!

I've become more and more obsessed with nail polishes as we're getting  into the warmer weather alot more. I know that must sound odd, but it appeals to me more in warmer weather?! Recently I was in Superdrug and wanted to pick up some new colours. I'd been reading about the Barry M Gelly polishes, so I picked that up in Papaya(?) and I'm yet yo try that out yet, but while there I realised I'd never ever tried a normal Barry M polish! (Big beauty sin). So I picked up one in the colour 'Mint Green'. I seem to love this colour as I have 3 (yes 3!) different versions of this colour!

At first, I didn't like the consistency  It didn't feel opaque enough for me and it was very runny. My nails are so brittle at the moment because I've just had false ones taken off (NEVER AGAIN!) and because of my job, they get used alot! After really shaking the bottle it seemed to get a little thicker and applied alot better. But it still took a few coats to get the 'coverage' I wanted. 

Overall Round-up; 

Pros;

1. Nice Colour

2. Nice Consistency 

3. Builds up nicely.

Cons; 

1. Needs alot of shaking to get a good texture

2. Takes a few coats to get good coverage. 

I would purchase this again!

Tag; Music!

I recently saw this tag that Georgia from  Makeup-Pixi3 had made on Shona's blog. I thought it'd be fun to give it a go, so here we go; 

What's your favourite type of music?

I have to admit I'm a lover of 'bubble gum' pop as it's put. I grew up listening to bands like BWitched, Five, S Club ect, and I'm a lover of old music thanks to my dad's influence. I don't have a favourite type, as such, I just have my preferred. 

What's your least favourite type of music?

I despise most Rap music and music that just seems to be sound with no words. And shoot me down now, but I'm not a lover of people like Rihanna and Justin Bieber. They're just not my type of music. 

What's the best gig you've been to?

This is so hard! I've been to a fair few, but I'd have to say seeing Mcfly & Lawson was awesome! It was a sunny day on the Blackpool Seafront and it has to have been one of THE best day's of my life! We we're 2 rows from the front and I even caught something that they threw into the crowd! 

What albums are you listening to at the moment?

I'm replaying my Mcfly - Wonderland and Pinks new album. 

What's your favourite bands/artists & favourite album?

This is hard! Personally at the moment I'm loving Koaline - High Hopes, Nelly - Hey Porchse and Pink - Just Give Me A Reason. I don't really have a favourite at the moment, but I'm really getting back into my music! 

If you could instantly know how to play any instrument, what would it be?

Well I already play the Piano, but would love to prefect it! I would LOVE to be able to properly play the guitar.

Project May Is In Progress!

Today I'm officially excited to confirm my project May Plan! So, the plan is that because, I feel like my blog has been a little slacking/not getting enough TLC, I'm going to blog EVERY single day thoughout the whole of May! I'm really hoping I stick to this and will be a failure if I do! 

So anyway, I just thought I'd explain why I'm doing it, and hope you'll all try and keep me on track! 

Today's post is my weekly wishlist wednesday! :) I'm skint at it currently stands :( but I've been well and truly lusting after some items lately. I've been trying to cram in loads of overtime at work so that I can enjoy a day in London with my BF on his birthday in a few weeks, and also trying to get some extra money elsewhere! Carboot sales are a big thing for me at the moment, even if I do spend more than I make....If you live in Herts/Beds area you should pop over! I sell everything! Make-up, clothes, books, sweets, cupcakes! So email me if you want to pop along! But...enough of that, here's my wishlist! 

When this goes to post I will know if I've been succesful in my application to buy my car, which is all very exciting, so I hope I'm not tempting fate by putting the plates and air fresheners on my wishlist! I'm really hoping to get it by this week, and therefore and loving the heart shaped one! And the Yankee Candle in a Banana Cake flavour! Another item I'm wanting this week is this Ikea furniture set for the garden. Although as I'm sat here writing this, it's hailstoning outside! I said before about my boyfriend's birthday, so I'm hoping we get this in time for that, otherwise it's going to be a blanket on the grass! Which I will be doing anyway but ya know! The Dougie Poynter shirt is in prep for the concert I'm going to see in a few weeks, I'm super excited! And The Muji Cases, well I want to FINALLY get my make-up and other products in order!

April Favorites!

This month I've found some true gems in which have actually become my go to's! It's an odd mix, but I've been playing about this some new hair products and sprays! 

This month I have literally fallen in love with the MUA eyeshadow palettes! Seriously, I can't get enough of them. I just want them all! The Undress Me Too palette is by far my most used one at the present time. I opt for this one whether its to go to work or out for the day ect I just adore it! The Dusk til Dawn one is pretty awesome too, I mostly use this one for nights out! Reviews on both of these are coming soon! 

After my operation, I felt the need to try and find a decent lotion, to minimise my scar, people recomened bio oil which I am still using, but I actually brought this body lotion from work and it's actually really good, I was shocked because it was so cheap! With discount it was like £1.30 or something?! It's not oily like I find others to be and really is my go to lotion now! The lip scrub has been a all time fave for a the past year or so,  and it's really helped me out in this flippent weather. I don't know about you but my lips tend to get very VERY dry and chapped around this time of year, so I love using this and it DOES taste good!

Wishlist Wednesday

This week is payday! The week when I feel entirely rich and I don't have a single care! But as well all know, or MOST of us know, it doesn't last for long! BUT if the spring/summer weather isn't a good enough reason to go out and buy lots of new clothes and other bits when is! In the next few coming months I have my boyfriend's birthday, which we're celebrating my having a small BBQ get together, I really hope the weather is nice, as it'll be the first BBQ we've had in the flat! Obviously not in the flat, because that's not good! Anywayyy, I then have my birthday, my MIL's birthday, my dad's birthday and my nieces, so LOTS of occasions! I'm super excited for the rest of this year, now the sun is shining everything seems to be alot more brighter and positive! OR maybe that is just me? 

So much more I could have added to this, so many clothes, but here's what I've put on. I'm particularly obsessed with the MUA Eyeshadow pallets! I want them all! And then to start on a MAC one, but that's in the very distant future at this rate! I am also looking for a new fragrance for the summer. At the moment I'm using Alien, which I adore, but nothing wrong with a bit of change, at the moment I really am liking the thought of this Marc Jacobs. The bottle is so pretty! As well as that, Hawaiian Tropic is a brand that I've only really used once or twice, but the Oil looks lush and the lipgloss! If I finally end up being able to go on my holiday these will be on my list! The oil might well be my go to this summer! Has anyone ever tried it before?

Wishlist Wednesday

Over the past couple of weeks there are a few things that I have really be lusting over! With payday around the corner why not make up a wishlist. I'm sad to say I won't be making all these purchases due to the fact my pay packet will be a sore point for me, after being of work for a month recovering from my op, it's fair to say I've lost a fair amount of money! Sad faces all around but thankfully I might be able to make 1-2 cheeky purchases to fulfill my shopping desire! So without further ado, here is what I'm lusting over this week! 

As you can see it's mostly clothing, but you know how it is! Summer is rolling up, the dresses are coming out of storage, the hunt is on for the perfect sunnies and it's the season for pastels and brights! And I couldn't be more excited! I'm bored of snow and coldness and can't wait for ice cream at the fields, late night walks, BBQ's ect! 

I think the one purchase I will be making from this list is the Mac Lipstick in Candy Yum Yum. OH my! It's beautiful. I've always been afraid of bolds, but lately I can't be without it! The GHD;s are slightly out of reach at the moment, but I've got my eye on them and maybe the boyfriend fairy will bring me them for my birthday in a few months? Anyway, see anything you like? I'm making the most of ASOS sale come payday, because I have a few parties/events coming up so why not dress for the occasion!? :)

Project May!

Hello All!

It's been way to long since me getting back into the swing of blogging. I just can't seem to find it in me to blog!  So the number one thing I told myself when I started Rosella, I would never force myself to do it. But seeing as I've been super lazy and lacking in content I've set myself a challenge which I'm calling 'Project May'. The idea is that I will be attempting to blog everyday in May, whether it's beauty, fashion, blogging related or just lifestyle in general! I'm already scheduling posts and because there's a fair bit going on in my life in May I'm super excited to share some things with you! 

I can't believe that while I've been away my blogs gained so many followers and my site views have almost doubled! That's amazing! Thank you all so much, and don't forget that I'm also on Hellocotton & Bloglovin, so please check them out too :)
