July Empties
July Empties |
(L-R) Asda Revitalising Shampoo Alberto Balsam Conditoner (Apple) |
Batiste Dry Shampoo (Original) |
Rimmel London Cream Gel Foundation (Ivory I believe) |
Collection 2000 Mascara (Black) |
Superdrug Little Pink Tin. |
Ghost Summer 2011 Edition |
Hello
all! This is my first EVER empties post. After seeing various blogs
doing this, I'm always interested to see what people have used
recently, so I thought I'd hop on the bandwagon! I used the last of
some of my total favourites this month *insert sad face* which
included my Ghost perfume! I've always been a fan of ghost and
recently have only stopped using it in favour of my Alien which I
received for my birthday a few weeks ago. The last drop was used well
however, I used it when I went out for dinner with a close friend of
mine, so it went out in style!
Another
product which I LOVE, I have infact already replaced in a different
flavour, is the Alberto Balsam shampoo and conditioner, I love the
scent of apples, has to be one of the best scents ever along with
citrus, but I've decided to give the Raspberry a whirl and so far, I
like but not as much as this apple!
What's
in your empties this month? Would you replace any of them?
Much
Love, Emily.

BEFORE YOU CONTINUE....I'm in no way bragging about my presents ect ect ect, i'm doing this to show how grateful I am to all my family and friends who made this birthday so special for me :) so please, no nasty 'spoilt girl' comments please. Thank you.
I did infact recieve more! I know i know spoilt! And I really was, and I can't say to my family, friends and boyfriend how much I love them for making my day so special and for all the surprises! I received 3 surprises infact. One was on the morning of my birthday, I opened up a card from my parents which inside had a cheque for £200 towards a car!
BEST BOYFRIEND EVER! |

The 2nd was my boyfriend was taking me to LONDON! the next day to see Sweeny Todd the musical, which can I say was bloody amazing! We both love London and Sweeny Todd, which had Jason Manford and Micheal Ball staring! I would love to go back and see it again
. The 3rd and one of the most tear jerking moments of my life was my boyfriend was taking me out for dinner, and when we go there all my close family and friends were there waiting for me! I was almost in tears! I was speechless, which is a big thing for me! It was just the perfect day!
Last week I had my birthday party, which was just as amazing, and above are a sample of presents I recieved. The DKNY watch was from my boyfriends Family which I love and can't bare to take off! The perfume is Alien, and if you follow me on twitter you'll know I've been after this for a VERY long time.
In all I had a birthday to remember, and despite people saying you should, I didn't get very drunk, after all didn't want to walk around London with a hangover did I?! The birthday party was another matter! If you want to know about any of the presents I will try my best to answer and I will be doing a review on the many Lush boxsets I got!
I'm going to leave it there, much love, Emily.

August Wish List!
Hello
Lovlies! How are you? My august wishlist is a bit of everything at
the moment as I'm currently re-doing my room (yes still!) and taking
inspirations from fellow bloggers I've picked up a few Ideas.
The
bag is something that I desperately want! It's from clothing brand
called Saint Kidd which was set up I believe by Dougie Poynter from
McFly. The clothes are actually really nice and I plan on getting my
boyfriend a few shirts from there for our anniversary in November.
Yes I am that prepared! You should check them out!
The
frame is on the website for £30 but I only have to pay £10 because
of a £20 giftcard from my birthday! I love anything that you can add
a personal touch too. I just think it's really cute and also I'm
planning on moving in with my boyfriend by this time next year
hopefully! So, anything I can take with me is an added bonus!
I got
this inspiration from Rebecca from Autumn Leaves, she posted a
picture of some acrylic storage items she purchased from Ikea, so me
being me, went for a nosey, and although I couldn't find what I was
actually looking for, I found this! It's super handy and comes in
black and white, which I think I'll get one of each, they're £8 each
which I don't think is too bad!
The
dress, I don't normally go for something like this! However, I've
been dieting a lot lately and have no dropped a dress size, so to
treat myself, I'm buying myself a new clubbing dress. I think it's
nice, however when I showed my boyfriend he wasn't too keen, what do
you guys think?
Anyway,
august is a busy month for me as I have many birthdays and I even
have a job interview in London! I'm super excited, and might have to
go and buy a whole new outfit for it, seeing as I have a new look
voucher to spend!
What's
on you're wish list next month?
Much
Love, Emily.

MUA Matte Foundation - REVIEW!
Usually when it comes to foundation, I'm very much a fussy girl. Over the few recent months I've been buying more and more of MUA make-up which is expanding beyond belief! And with there (rumored) brush line coming out soon I'm super excited to see what they bring out! MUA is known for it's affordable price but also it's excellent quality. And this foundation doesn't fail my expectations. The perfect shade is easy to find for me, as I tend to have very pale skin and everything makes me look orange. Not an attractive look. But for £2 this foundation is a must for my make-up bag!
Before After
It's not really clear from the pictures but it gives your skin a clear finish. Usually I'll put the MUA pressed powder on top. I love this foundation. It's silky and not oily, its almost perfect for every skin type. Now remember I said it was only £2, I mean it! It was one of the best purchases and I'm happy I took the risk. It's paid off for me, and I can't wait to see what MUA bring out in the future because so far, me and many other bloggers alone are very impressed of the brand of the moment! Tweet them here! and SHOP here!
Are you a fan of MUA? Let me know!
